- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Pungam Oil Cake organic manure is the by-product obtained in the process of cold pressing of Pongamia or Karanji seeds. Biodegradable and environment friendly. In general it has high Nitrogen (4.2%- 6%) content, Potassium (1.6%- 2%), Phosphorus (1%- 3%), Sulphur (0.19%) and was found to be rich in all plant nutrients for sustaining productivity of rainfed crops.
- ACTION : Pongamia cake is an excellent bio fertilizer and widely used in organic farming. It has good soil binding capacity and can be applied for all vegetable crops like Tomato, Chilly, Egg plant etc., It gives various plant nutrients to crops and protects crop from the insects, soil borne pathogens, root nematodes (e.g. Meloidogyne incognita) and bacteria.
- DIRECTION TO USE: Pungam Cake granules can be applied either as a basal or top dressing up to 40 grams per plant and subsequently 10 to 20 grams as per crops need. As a natural fertilizer, it can also be mixed with Neem Oil cake to give better results.
- PRECAUTIONS: Pungam Cake can safely be stored in cool dry place.
